NetLogo is used to for multi-agent modeling of natural and social phenomena. It is particularly useful for creating simulations of complex adaptive systems and emergent phenomena.

NetLogo is not the only software tool available for multi-agent modeling, yet the combination of power and ease-of-use makes NetLogo one of the most attractive packages.

This site will catalog resources on NetLogo and Complex Adaptive Systems over time..

PowerPoint slides on Complex Systems -- these are from an undergraduate course, and provide a lot of content to work with.

Suggested Readings on Complex Systems - a listing of books from the Library of Congress catalog pertaining to CAS.

Resources on Complex Systems -  a list of books, journals, academic centers, and conferences related to complex adaptive systems. This list was prepared by Dr. Tom Lairson of Rollins College.
